a) Tips and Tricks for Liquid Bonding Adhesives:

Below, a list of helpful tips to help you achieve the strongest and most secure bond possible.

When applying the liquid adhesive, only use thin, even coats. If you are using a brush, use a paint movement with your hand in both directions - horizontal and vertical. If more adhesive is desired, use thin multiple coats, but make sure the previous coat is dry before applying the next coat.

Never try to apply liquid bond directly to a lace system. Instead, apply it on your scalp and place the unit on your head. Always clean and prepare your scalp properly, with skin shield before attaching your full lace wig. Skin shield is a product,that provides a protective barrier against dermal irritation,while enhancing the effectiveness of skin-safe liquid or tape adhesives.

After showering or working out, the bond of your full lace wig will seem like it is weakening, which is expected, then even if your hair system is still attached securely, the bond will soften a bit, due to extra heat and moisture, do not touch the unit then, because as your body cools, the bond will harden again.

Airborne dust, make-up will attach itself to the adhesive in the front and side edges of lace units and may become visible over time. Immediately after a shower is the easiest time to clean this area because the hairpiece adhesive is pliable. Spray a liberal amount of Adjust-a-Bond on the tip of a double folded tissue. Hold your hair back with one hand and wipe the edge of the lace using the saturated tissue with the other hand.
This trick will help keep your lace front and side edges invisible at all times.

b) Tips and Tricks to avoid shedding

Below, a list of helpful tips to avoid excessive shedding.

Some light shedding is normal, however, your full lace wig should not shed anymore then our own hair would.

DO NOT put any hair products that contain a high percentage of alcohol (like some hair spray, spritz, etc...) directly into the hair of your full lace wig. These products will damage the hair and cause excessive shedding).

When going to sleep wearing your full lace wig, always braid up the hair or at least put it in a pony tail so it will not tangle up, while you sleep. Best is for you to wrap a scarf around your head or to wear a hair bonnet, while you are asleep,(see below section: Tips and Tricks to avoid damages while sleeping). This will prevent the hair of your full lace wig from breakage and shedding.

When swimming wearing your full lace wig, keep in mind that chlorine, and salt water can damage the hair of the unit, therefore wear a swim cap or wash your full lace wig after each swim session. NEVER let chlorine and/or salt water stay in the hair of your full lace wig,as it will damage the hair of your unit irreversibly.

Reseal the knots located on the inside of your full lace wig cap, after each and every wash, with some knot sealer. This will strengthen the knots on each hair strand and protect your full lace wig from excessive shedding.

c) Tips and Tricks for Curly, Deep Wave and Wavy Styles

Wash and rinse your full lace wig gently but thoroughly, then spray until saturation, with a,1/4 Dove Moisturizing Conditioner, 1/4 of Glycerin and 2/4 plain water mixture*. Using a loop brush, brush it into shape. Cover your full lace wig with a hair net, and let it dry on top of a wig head. Once dry and you begin to wear it, you spray lightly with above mixture every 2-3 days or as needed. This will restore the initial shape, bounce and shine of the curls and/or the waves.

*1/3 of Sunsilk Captivating Curls Lotion, 1/3 of glycerin and 1/3 of plain water mixture.

d) Tips and Tricks for a long-lasting full lace wig

The key factor in full lace wig care and maintenance, is to understand that your full lace wig is made of human hair, that is approximately 4 years old. Since hair grows on average a half inch per month, one year equates out to 6 inches. So since on the average 24 inches long hair is used to make a 20 inch unit, it is safe to say, that the hair of your unit has been exposed to the elements a minimum of 4 years, and now that hair has been removed from its nutrient source, to be made into your fabulous full lace wig, care and maintenance become that hair life support.

Five main tools are required to properly care for your full lace wig: Shampoo, Conditioner, a rake, your pillow case and your hair wrap. These are the 5 key players and unfortunately not all options are created equally.

A good rule of thumb for shampoo or conditioner is that if it costs between $10.00 and $20.00 for 8.5 oz then you have the right stuff. Since the shampoo and conditioner are keys to protecting the hair natural oils, these are two items that you will be best to invest into.

Whenever the hair of your full lace wig is a bit dry or if you want to ensure it will be protected from the elements follow these simple steps:

1. Remove hair unit and wash gently.
2. Apply a Hair Damage Repair or another high end conditioning treatment formulated for hair moisture replenishment. Do NOT use protein enriched conditioners.
3. Put your full lace wig in a plastic bag and place in a warm area of your home. Do NOT microwave or apply direct heat, as it will damage your unit.

It is suitable for a variety of applications, including functional sportswear, inner wear, skin care products, antibacterial filter, precision grinding cloth, etc." (Only a scientist would feel comfortable clumping those attributes together in one sales pitch without batting an eye.) Teijin makes further claims that in test studies, people who have worn the Nanofront(TM) underwear for 40 consecutive days have experienced lowered body fat by several percent and consequently a reduced waist size by several centimeters.

All giggling aside, this fabric has pretty amazing attributes. A single strand of this fiber is 7.5 thousand times smaller than a strand of hair, yet the unevenness of the fiber's surface generates a greater friction allowing for very little slippage or movement. Your briefs will be staying put! Nanofront is also 200,000 times more flexible than regular polyester fibers and it has excellent cooling properties, as well as it absorbing and diffusing perspiration quickly. Now we're talking girl friendly underwear, pass the nano-briefs please... but skip the bra, I need to hold onto what little I have, thank you!

4...Saving you on nail polish...

Moving onto an underwear of a different kind yet no less frustrating; our scientist friends may have the solution in the works to deal with those pesky runs in the nylons.

Who hasn't silently pursed their lips when a fingernail ripped through a brand new pair of stockings being pulled on and were forced to dab on nail polish in hopes of halting the run. We could only pray at that moment that it wasn't our last pair! Wishing there would be a more durable nylon that was still lightweight and comfortable. How does a self repairing material sound?

This plastic holds the potential for revolutionizing the way materials are engineered for different applications and it is fast stuff, quicker than you can whip out a bottle nail polish. Scientists tried to capture the healing process using a high-speed camera, but the event happens almost instantaneously. Aside from nylons, (which is at the moment low on the priority scale) there is an interest in this fabric being incorporated in space technology, and bullet proof jackets as well.

5...Tights on a different scale...

As if nano-fabric, self healing polymers, and anti-bacterial threads weren't enough a technological wonder to get any girl's head spinning, how about a fabric that emits infra-red rays that reduces cellulite? I bet that has your eyebrows raised! And this marvel is on the market right now, but is such a hot commodity you had better cross your fingers it is not sold out at the moment. These intimates are called Scala Bio-Fir leggings, (they also come in pants) and currently sold at John Lewis who reports that the anti-cellulite pants sold out within 30 minutes of going online.

The Bio-Fir hosiery is said to have the capacity to smooth out orange peel skin. It's scientific explanation goes as follows: the fabric contains crystals that emit infra-red rays and once they come into contact with the skin these infra-red rays induced an increase in the metabolism in the skin cells by warming them up. This creates an increase in the blood flow in the skin which in turn causes the fat layers that make up the cellulite to melt into a liquid, which the body can eliminate. The leggings are claimed to be most effective if worn for six hours a day for a continuous 30 days.
Now as winter approaches, there are some ladies in the north with a big smile on their faces at the moment. I am not sure how you ladies of the south are going to take to such a product though. There is no end to the suffering and endurance required in the name of beauty, is there?

Indeed, science has come a long way with practical applications for textiles of today. It is equally amazing that in their pursuit of aerospace advancement and artillery protection, that they have not forgotten the finer things in life as well... us ladies and our intimates. Which just proves that we do fit quite high on the priority scale, and one might be able to argue that as long as we make our voices heard, it is no longer a man's world.

8 Face Makeup Tips to Enhance Your Beauty

1. Foundation forms the base of the face makeup and is applied after the face has been cleansed and moisturized. Wait for a few moments for the moisturizer to be absorbed before applying the foundation. Although black is the favorite color for the eyeliner, blue, brown or navy blue can look equally stunning. In fact, the color of your eyes can be brought out magnificently by using the right eyeliner.

6. Mascara can literally be termed the `magic wand` as it can be used to coat the most meager of eyelashes to give the effect of full, lush eyelashes. Wait for the first coat to dry before applying the next coat and then using a mascara comb, run it through the eyelashes to shake off the excess mascara. An eyelash curler is also an invaluable cosmetic aid but the curling should be done before the applying the mascara.

7. Chapped lips should be treated with a lip balm before applying lipstick. A thin base of foundation on the lips will allow the correct tone of the lipstick to show. Lips can be first outlined with a lip liner which is slightly darker than the lipstick color but of the same tone and then the lips can be filled in with the lipstick with a lip brush. The shape of the lips can be corrected with the help of the lip liner. Using a lip brush helps give an even coating of color to the lips. A lip gloss on the middle of the lips will give a fuller look to the lips.

8. The blusher should be chosen according to one`s skin tone. If using powder blusher, put some on the brush and shake off the excess powder before the application. Smile while applying the blusher and put it on with upward strokes towards the ears. Again, blending is the key to perfect application and for contouring the face.

Another Embarrassing Stocking Story

t should not be too surprising really that the most embarrassing moments of your life happen when you least expect them. It is probably not too surprising either that these are the stories of one's misspent youth that makes a person laugh in hindsight. I was fourteen at the time and dressed up to the nines and thought I was "as smart as a rat with a gold tooth" as my Uncle Jock used to say.

My Grandmother always said "pride cometh before a fall" and they were both right as usual. I was off to the pictures on a sunny Saturday afternoon and I was going to meet my boyfriend outside the theatre because I wasn't supposed to be 'dating' any boy. Back in those days (early-mid 60's) here in Australia we still called the movies the pictures. They were always called that until the advent of a lot of TV programs from America came in on our TV's and slowly "the pictures" has slowly disappeared from our language. However, that's another story.

I met up with my girlfriend and she dutifully admired my attire. We were both as excited as two hens on the one nest and weren't paying too much attention between giggles and shared hopes as to where we were walking. I wasn't very experienced at that time with wearing high heels and even though by most standards they wouldn't be considered 'high' they were much higher than a bare foot kid from the country was used to balancing on. We were about to cross the street to the picture theatre when disaster struck.

My friend pointed my boyfriend out waiting for me in front of the picture theatre and he saw us about the same time and waved. I waved back just as I stepped off the footpath onto the road and stepped on the side of a pot-hole in the bitumen and down I went, landing like a cat on all fours.

I heard this terrific rip and felt my knee go straight through my nylon stocking, my handbag went flying out in front of me onto the road and my beautiful yellow frock was smeared with black bitumen stains! My boyfriend hurried over and helped me up just as another girl walked by with her friend and noticed who I was meeting there and said sarcastically "You have really fallen for him, haven't you?" and the pair of them giggled all the way across the street. I was too mortified and embarrassed to even feel the hurt from my grazed and bleeding knee and my hands stung with gravel rash.

I couldn't go home again and change because there wasn't time and my friend had already bought our tickets. So I went to the ladies room and cleaned up as best I could but I felt absolutely miserable and then sore. I never even got to hold hands with him because of the gravel rash on my palms. But when the lights went out he did put his arm around my shoulders (eventually!) and give me a cuddle. The anticipation of "will he, won't he" was adrenalin pumping stuff to a fourteen year old girl who had just taken off her stockings and was recovering from a most embarrassing situation.

When threatened, flick a power-switch in your mind which spurs you to action.

If you choose to fight, commit fully.

Do not give up at the first hurdle. Keep trying or change tactics.

Develop a thicker skin. As Donald Trump says, "It is not personal, it is business." Taking things to heart comes with being sensitive, but the escalating emotions side-track you from what matters.

Show what you can do without being coy.

Communicate briefly without digressing, especially when talking to men. Avoid getting lost in your story by cutting it down to 25 words or less. After two minutes, men zone out and stop listening. Think how much more influence you would have with your boss or your boyfriend, if they heard you.

Say what you mean in a straightforward manner. People cannot read your mind so ask clearly for what you want and avoid hints, metaphors and parables. To get men to listen, ask direct questions, and speak in terms of problems and solutions. Answer questions in a no-frills way and if more details are needed, elaborate.

Use less qualifiers. Women soften statements by adding unnecessary phrases like, "I sort of thought ..." and "In my opinion ..." Compare the following two statements: "In my opinion it would be more effective if we start now," and "It would be more effective if we start now." The latter packs more punch, especially in the work environment.

In a similar vein cut out 'um' and the inappropriate use of the word 'like'. Being certain conveys credibility.

In heated situations, stick to facts. Exaggerating/over-stating and being overly emotional minimises what you say, for example, "You ALWAYS leave the bathroom in a mess ..." Because that is not true, he reckons the rest of what you are about to say is along the same lines, and from then onwards hears nothing. Instead, make your point clearly and without laboring it, move on.

"None is Fun" Explained

Earlier in the week, my slightly dim-witted co-worker Jean interrupted me in the process of sending out some time-sensitive bid invitations to pass on the following bit of information. Apparently her friend had a dream that she (Jean) was three months pregnant, and from the look on her face as she was telling me, she was positively beaming at the thought of pregnancy (as if there was some spiritual connection between her friend's nocturnal rambling and an actual conception). Of course I had to pour some cold water on the fantasy and speak my mind; "Dream? Sounds like a nightmare to me." The poor woman looked positively dejected.

I don't know why she was surprised though, because it's no secret that I have no children and that baby showers, daily pregnancy updates and ultrasound pictures of fetuses does nothing for me short of putting me into a mild state of semi-coma. Before I get angry emails from the Moms, let me say that I don't dislike children, only that I have never wanted any of my own. In fact, anyone who knows me well will tell you that my maternal instincts + nurturing skills + child tolerance threshold = absolutely zilch.

There must not be many members of what I call the "None Is Fun Club" about these days, because I often find myself justifying my decision to remain childless as if it's some sort of character defect. It amazes me that in this day of enlightened womanhood I can hear a remark like "you're not a complete woman until you've had a child." Really? Who said that, someone trying to sell baby products? Private school tuition? Accident insurance? My answer to any type of "complete woman" remark is replying that no one is 'complete' until they're six feet under, which either brings a chuckle, or leaves them thinking I'm something that rhymes with "a witch". I'm often asked questions such as "don't you get lonely"? and I answer that I have plenty of friends for companionship and I also have a dog, which, unlike a child, doesn't talk back or ask me for money, clothes, a cell phone or a car. She's also less expensive to feed. One of the strangest comments by far was from a gentleman who suggested that being childless meant I wasn't leaving any legacy wherein I pointed out that, being childless, I will have no one to leave a legacy to. I then suggested he call a cab instead of driving while intoxicated.

In fact, the reason for my decision not to have children is very simple, but there are two very different versions; the version that looks good on paper and then the honest one. The version that looks good on paper is that I sacrificed Motherhood in pursuit of my career, personal aspirations and goals (for the most part, hogwash), and that I didn't feel I could make the long-term commitment and the sacrifices required to be a good parent (for the most part, the truth). The honest version is that, in order to be a good parent, you have to grow up yourself, and that's something that, even at my age, I'm still not prepared to do. There are enough "children having children" about; there's no need to add me to to the total number.

There's nothing wrong with "childless-by-choice". Parenthood isn't, and shouldn't be for everyone, and it's the wise person who can step back, look deep and face the truth. So, if you are one of those people who are thinking of going the childless route don't be dissuaded by people for whom parenting works; just say what I've been saying for years, "I'm a proud member of the 'None Is Fun Club' ". If truth be told, I'm sure there are more than a few parents who secretly wish they were holding their own Membership Card.

A picture is worth a thousand words? So what are you really saying?

In the world of social networking sites, it has become easier and easier for young ladies to display images of themselves in less than modest appearance. Many networking sites that ask for profile pictures have females in next to nothing clothing, revealing body parts, and statuses revealing sexually suggestive language.

The problem is that many women don't seem to care about the message that some images may be saying. In fact, many men have commented that women that have revealing pictures on the internet's social networking sites, are viewed as easy, and as someone that they would never consider having a meaningful relationship with.

Here are a few questions a female should ask themselves before they post a picture on a website.

1. Does this image, truly represent the person I want to be?
2. Does this image, communicate that I am the type of person that engages in sexually risky behavior?
3. How would I feel if I were applying for a job, and an employer saw this picture?
4. Does this image indicate that I am a woman with self respect and self love

Another thing to consider is that sexual predators are very real, and prey on innocent victims of the internet. Parents- make sure your young teenagers and preteens are not posting inappropriate pictures of themselves- why create a target for someone that is out to do harm.

It may not seem that serious, after all it's just a picture some might say, however, but if a Picture is worth a thousand words- what does your picture say about you?

When applying the liquid adhesive, only use thin, even coats. If you are using a brush, use a paint movement with your hand in both directions - horizontal and vertical. If more adhesive is desired, use thin multiple coats, but make sure the previous coat is dry before applying the next coat.

Never try to apply liquid bond directly to a lace system. Instead, apply it on your scalp and place the unit on your head. Always clean and prepare your scalp properly, with skin shield before attaching your full lace wig. Some light shedding is normal, however, your full lace wig should not shed anymore then our own hair would.

DO NOT put any hair products that contain a high percentage of alcohol (like some hair spray, spritz, etc...) directly into the hair of your full lace wig. These products will damage the hair and cause excessive shedding).

When going to sleep wearing your full lace wig, always braid up the hair or at least put it in a pony tail so it will not tangle up, while you sleep. When swimming wearing your full lace wig, keep in mind that chlorine, and salt water can damage the hair of the unit, therefore wear a swim cap or wash your full lace wig after each swim session. NEVER let chlorine and/or salt water stay in the hair of your full lace wig,as it will damage the hair of your unit irreversibly.

Reseal the knots located on the inside of your full lace wig cap, after each and every wash, with some knot sealer. This will strengthen the knots on each hair strand and protect your full lace wig from excessive shedding.

Women's Power - The Triple Goddess

We live in a time of new beginnings. It is a new time of rights and freedom for women and for spirituality. However our society based on a patriarchal (or male) focus has no understanding or framework for women's wisdom or the Feminine Divine. As women we are beginning to rebuild our relationship with our own unique divinity. To do this we are borrowing from other traditions and delving into our own inner knowing, past life and genetic memory and guidance from Spirit teachers.

There are some wonderful treasures rising up from the depths, new understanding of women's natural ways, our magic comes in gentle but powerful flows and learning how to tune into them and flow with them slows a woman down, and brings her into alignment with the Truth of Who She Is.

One of these aspects of Women's Magic, is the Triple Goddess. The Triple Goddess identifies the three aspects of women's beingness. The Maiden, The Mother and The Crone. Often taught as the three phases in a woman's life, they are much more than that. These three sacred aspects show themselves in daily life, in moods that women shift into at any given time and states of Being that women can enter to empower a project that they are working with. This is ancient knowing that women have held through the ages. For clarity, I will outline each of the three aspects.

  • The Maiden: This is a playful, lighthearted state of being. It is very social, sexual and innocent. It is a wonderful time of new beginnings, discovery, curiosity and freedom. It is aligned with the season of Spring, the direction of East. It is prevalent in a women's daily life when she is hanging out with the girls (a pajama party or a shopping trip) and also in the seed planting and germination phase of new projects. Tuning into this flow is wonderful for the very early stages of new projects, or when you get too bogged down in a project to take you back to the state of playfulness that helps fuel a creation along. It also is wonderful for depression or when you get too bogged down in life.
  • The Mother: This is a loving, communal state of being. It is about deeper connections - to your lover, to your children, to your community. It is a time of giving and receiving. Not only does the Mother come into alignment with the deeper flow of communion, she carries the flow for her community. This is the time of fruition, the slow process of labour followed by wonderful gifts and outcomes. The projects that were just ideas in the Maiden state, are worked on and brought into the physical with the Mother energy. This is the state of manifestation. The Mother phase is aligned with the season of Summer, the direction of North if you are in the Southern Hemisphere and of South if you are in the Northern Hemisphere. It is prevalent when a woman is showing support for her loved ones, when gathering in times of grief, pain or celebration, in gestating, birthing and raising children (or businesses or other projects).
  • The Crone: This is the place of knowing, of wisdom (wisdom is knowledge gained through experience). It is what comes of perspective. The perspective of having completed a cycle and experienced the outcome. The Crone teaches, in her own time and in her own method. She does not answer or bow to others. She will share her knowing when it is right, not when others push. She is in line with the flow much more than being in line with other people. She resonates her truth and like a beacon will draw those to her that are ready for what she has to share. She will sit quietly, and smile calmly and when she speaks, only those who are able will listen and understand. The Crone phase is aligned with the season of Autumn and the direction of West. It comes into access when a project or life experience is completed and you are able to look back and learn from it. Tune into her flow when you are seeking perspective, distance and understanding.

While it is absolutely true that both men and women have access to the Divine Feminine and Triple Goddess, it is also true that as women, we have a much deeper relationship with these flows. Our very lives are built on these rivers of energy and to consciously open and develop our relationship with them, to learn how to work with them as true sources of magic and Truth is to grow into and know our deepest power.

Women's Self Defense - Denial Isn't Just a River in Egypt

One of the challenges in discussing self-defense training with women and girls is the denial factor. You know the conversation:

  • "I could never hurt anyone."
  • "That will never happen to me."
  • "I'm always safe."
  • "My husband, boyfriend (insert any male here) will protect me."
  • "I live, work, shop, etc. in a safe neighborhood."
  • "The class sounds great, but I just don't have the time."
And as they say, denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

The reality is that women's self-defense training is so much more than just learning to "hit someone." Self-defense training involves understanding the different types of crimes and learning to recognize the early warning signals of danger. Self-defense training teaches you how to create a safety plan. It teaches risk avoidance skills. It teaches you about body language, verbal skills and de-escalation techniques. And of course, it teaches you how to disable (not just hit) a predator so you can escape and survive.

The belief that "it will never happen to me" is dangerous. Our motto is to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. When you mentally and physically commit to your and your family's safety, you will be prepared if God forbid you are attacked. And if you are not attacked, if may just be because you were prepared. So, really, you lose nothing but gain everything in terms of both personal safety and confidence.

No one and no neighborhood is always safe. There is the potential every day to be targeted as a viable victim. By having the skills to recognize when you're in the crosshairs of a predator, it will give you an advantage in initiating your safety plan. Although we grew up on the fairy tales of the rescuing prince and the protective dwarves, the reality is that no one will protect you but you. Given the fact that most women know their attackers, the fairy tale rescue/protector mindset could get you killed. Do you have a plan when your protector becomes your attacker?

Ladies, Take Control Over Your Life!

Ladies there has never been a better time to take control over this chapter of your lives. Yes, I'm talking to you, the mature lady 50 and over! personally, I think it's important to have routine, something that makes us feel comfortable on a daily basis, in the knowledge, that what we are doing, is beneficial to us(as individuals) When you become happy and contented with "YOU" the process of starting to love yourself again will begin! It will radiate to others, your family and friends. It s not rocket science at all, but basic common sense, nourish your body and in return it will pay you back in a way you never thought would happen.

During its life the body is abused in a variety of ways, from the inside as well as the outside. The foods we eat, the drinks we choose all take their toll! Take stock, ask questions, write it down in your diary, but make sure you give yourself honest answers about what you want to change. For example: - Do you need to lose weight? Do you want to eat more healthy food? Do you want to put exercise into your daily schedule? What about relaxation? Do you drink enough water? Maybe you are a person who has yo-yo dieted for most of their life, but, found you got nowhere! It really doesn't have to be that way, all that is necessary, is for you to be redirected and it will work out!

Have you been feeling depressed, are you feeling lethargic, maybe you are bloated or simply over weight, whatever glove that fits, help is at hand. Our bodies get out of sync and it's not easy to find the right path to travel, especially if you don't talk about how you feel. Don't suffer in silence. Everything is achievable if you really want it to be! So do you? Until we reach our forties, we seem to be immune to any drastic changes to our physical appearance, but as soon as we reach a certain age our bodies begin to change whether we like it or not! The change is natural, it's a bit like a wake up call, for you, to respect your body and listen to its needs.

Look towards natural products in everything you do. Young Mother - The Journey to Freedom

Every young mother knows how the journey starts. It begins from bringing forth a rare gem from within. A being that is so beautiful and cuddling that makes a mother swell with love, tears and joy. A baby is wonderful and a blessing to humans.

Although she possesses something that is so precious, uncertainty lies in as to what will happen to herself and her treasure. She loves her baby and wants the best for him but mentally she knows that the task ahead is daunting and fear grips her but afterward love, a way to victory, sets in and then the journey to freedom begins.

Every Journey has obstacles set in its path and these obstacles are faced by the young mother. These obstacles are many but some of them include:

I. Financial Obstacles The young mother needs to sustain herself during the journey. She needs finance or what we call money as she has to sustain herself as well as her baby (her treasure). Her baby is going to grow during the journey and needs all the love and care he or she can get to grow into splendor. Moreover, the young mother has to think of ways to achieve this and it's not an easy task.

ii. Emotion Obstacle Man does not act on logic but emotion for we are emotional beings. As a young mother, her emotions are constantly in battle. She might realize as time goes on in the journey that she has to learn to control her emotion

For instance those she calls her friends might suddenly abandon her to thread this path alone and this might make her scared, lonely and disappointed. Furthermore, she might be supported by her parents with love and care but the reality soon dawns on her that only she is the captain.

She is aware that it takes hard hard work, diligence, perseverance and discipline to achieve the state of control.

Other obstacles come her way which she must face but one thing for sure is that she has to determine one thing and that's whether she will succeed or fail? She must answer the question for her sake and her child.

Many young mothers are on this journey, some have given up but others have achieved freedom.

For young mothers who are out there, I have but to tell you:

1. You can achieve anything if you believe in yourself and dream big.

2. Have mentors probably matured mothers who have gone through this journey to direct you so that you can be prepared mentally.

3. Have objectives and goals. This is very important for they let you know where you are going. Set objectives for yourself. I suggest you discuss with your parents or mentors to assist you in drafting your goals.

4. Read books on different areas of your life. You are on a journey and you need all the information you can get. Read books on finances, taking care of babies, health and everything that pertains to you. No one is too young to achieve success unless you think so. There are so many young people achieving tremendous success. 5. Read biographies on women who are great achievers like Hillary Clinton, Condoleezza Rice and a host of other women.

You can achieve freedom. It's all in your hands.

Learn How to Walk in High Heels

A lot of women are intimidated by having to wear high heels; others say they have no reason to wear them. If the truth were told they don't know how to walk in them, even throw, most love the way they make their legs look. When an occasion appears many will find an excuse not to go if they have to wear "high heels." Walking i is not that difficult, and with a little bit of practice, you'll be stepping out in no time at all.

Practice standing in high heels. Stand in front of a full-length mirror; it will give you a chance to see first hand what you look like. Checking out your posture and profile in front of the mirror, or just standing in high heels will help to remove some of your apprehension and also help you to get used to the additional height you'll have when wearing a high heels.

Start to walk at home a few steps at a time. Try practicing on hard floors, or in a room with thin carpet, some carpeting is very thick and the carpet, if thick, can throw you off balance. With each step, point your feet as straight in front of you as you can. Starting off slowly being extra conscientious of each step you take. Turing in different directions and stopping without wobbling will help to give assurance that you can be graceful when walking. Practice, practice, practice and more practice will give you the confidence you'll need to walk correctly.

As you grow more confident in your abilities to walk, turn, and do all the other things you might need to do in high heels, you can move up to higher heights. Start slowly when adding height to your heels. Don't jump to quickly when adding extra inches to your heels.

Walking staircases, use the rail if it is available, or at least be close enough to a rail that you can reach it if your need to. When climbing steps use your entire shoe heel and sole should land firmly all at once on each step.

Start out with a wider high heel, instead of a stiletto. This will help you to get use to the added height before adding how to balance in a thinner heel. Wear a pump to begin with. Avoid backless or extremely flimsy high heels.

Remember, to practice, practice, practice and more practice that's the key to learn how to walk in any height of heel.
