Breasts sag with age as its tissues gradually gets worn. If nothing is done to check it, then it might eventually end up like the pair my granny had when she was 80.
No woman of beauty today can even imagine her breast becoming like that but it is only nature taking its due course. However when the hormone called estrogen is introduced into the body, it helps to build these tissues and the more tissues are built, the larger and fuller the breast become. In order words, the intake of estrogen through pills, herbal extracts and estrogen-rich foods would enhance the breast dramatically.
Estrogen supplements given on their own can trigger uterine cancer, but if a progesterone is given with it, the risk is virtually eliminated.
During menopause, there is a fall in estrogen production by the body. At this stage, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) may be required. This HRT may be a combination of estrogen and progesterone.
A number of foods and herbs are sources of natural plant estrogen, and may be very helpful during menopause. These foods are high in vitamins, minerals, fiber, and essential fatty acids. They are low in saturated fat. In order words they are nutritious and should be incorporated into normal diet. Some of them are:
Apples
Barley
Carrots
Cow-peas (black eyed peas)
Cucumbers
Eggs
Diary foods
Garlic
Hops
Oats
Papaya
Women beyond the stage of menopause should adopt pectoral exercises to help the breast maintain a firm and toned look. Swimming is one superb exercise for bust shape. It exercises the breast muscles considerably against the resistance of the water.
